@gautam i have made a list of 35 ish skins for removal. Check it out. Go in game and see how bad they r. i let some of the cheaper ones slide but ye.

These are the skins that will be OG but cannot be bought, the rest of the skins will still be there and still buyable.

Also, is Flame’s removal still undecided? Personally, I think it needs to go.

Now since manage is trying to change v2s cosmetics revamp let me propose something else which was my initial plan.

Introducing… complete OG skins where v1 skins = OG skins.

Basically, I am going to revamp all v1 skins by making them OG. Then making a new v2 skins shop with only quality top tier skins.

I want to have a specific pattern for v2 skins instead of having no specific art style. Now I understand people worked hard on their v1 skins and their effort won’t go to vain.

First of all, creators of any OG skin will receive their skin in V2. But OG skins cannot be boughten in v2 making them rare and sought after. Eventually there will be a marketplace where you can sell off your OG skins to others, basically people who own rare V1 skins will be insanely rich if they hold on to their investment.

What do you think of this plan instead of blatantly removing millions of coins and hours of hard work

Heres my full idea:

Remove these bad skins

Make 30 or so really good skins elite and og so that you cant buy them in v2 unless someine gives it

Rest of skins will still be buyable

Why my idea is better:
No bad skins will remain in game
Only 30 or so skins will be og so u can still buy the rest
In gautams plan, if you dont have a skin when v2 starts, youll never get it.

There will be new v2 skins which are really high quality and more suited to the games art style than just random skins submitted by people.

I’m not opposed to removing but why do we need to remove hard work when we can just make it OG and let the people who already have it keep it?

I like gautams idea though, through difficult challenges you should be able to obtain OG skins without having them before and also without trading for them.

It looks bad for the game. You really think that effort was put into the king skin?or the supreme neon skin?

As you said. High quality skins will be added for v2. Why keep the bad skins that just makes the shop look worse overall.

The og brand i smtn ur trying to give to 175 skins some of which r bad. I think the og exclusive brand shoupd be a collectipn of elite skins that deserve to be singled out and honored. Not crappy skins

Theres a reason new people cant buy og skins. It shouldnt be bc theyre bad. but there should be nothing bad abt the game which is why we should remove these skins

Maybe you could have separate tabs in the shop for separate qualities of skins…

The cool ones could be bought with gems while the lame ones with coins. (since you plan on adding gems)

I don’t like the idea of these skins being unobtainable unless you have an unreasonable amount of coins and you can find someone with the skin willing to trade. Some skins only have a mere 100 people who have them. This would make getting all the skins near impossible!

I don’t want to pay 1m for the superhero skin because of extortion.

I think that a combination of both ideas could be decent.

For example, in v2 there could be two separate marketplaces for the OG skins. The first one would be a normal marketplace that has OG skins with the art style of v2 or ones that are well-designed. Then, there could be a button within the normal marketplace to access a miscellaneous marketplace, which has all of the OG skins that don’t match the art style/want to be removed. This way, all of the hard work of skin creators will stay in the game, but the non-matching skins won’t be the main focus of the marketplace.

This kind of matches Hue’s idea, but I think all of the skins should be bought with the same currency for more consistency. Plus, selling skins for gems seems like it could be a bit too overpowered.
