V2 swordthrow tactic

so i just got on v2 for the first time and had a lot of thoughts…thats for the next post tho. but with v2 comes a lot of new features…including those rocks found around…

those rocks are involved in this tactic you can do with swordthrows…

basically, if you aim your swordthrow right, you can have it bounce off those rocks at an angle to catch your opponent’s offguard.

these can also push rocks in front if you hit the rocks at a straight angle, facing directly at them…these can be good for blocking your opponent or for putting an obstacle between you and one of the mobs that rushes at you (such as the moose)

Sword Throw

For starters, the sword throw feels a lot more different. I believe it has a longer range, and the sword throw speed can vary, depending on what the user is standing on. If the player is standing on a surface that increases their speed, their sword speed is also increased. For example, standing in a bush (which slows down a player’s movement) would decrease sword throw speed, while standing on water (which increases player speed) would have a much faster sword throw. Since the thrown sword is treated as a physical object now, it is also able to slide across objects lying around on the map like the rocks.
