When a topic is inactive or is answered, the topic closes. After a few months it gets “bumped up” and reopened so people can talk about it agaun

Yeah, no problem.
Also a cool feature, after a reply is marked as a solution (like this topic) it will close within one hour of the last reply.
Pretty cool, huh?
