This is the official changelog for Swordbattle.io, highlighting significant changes or fixes in game code and updates.
For a major update, I will make a new topic for the community to discuss it, but this topic is just to track everything that happened and I will post links to update topics here as well for historical purposes.
Posts will be in chronological order, with the bottom posts being the most recent updates.
Updates before V2 were not recorded, so will not be shown here. You can check Manage’s Changelog for a partial recap of the V1 changes.
- Pushed a hotfix for the swordbattle memory leak, it is not confirmed to be fixed yet promising right now
- Increased regen delay to 5 seconds
- Balanced evols with inspiration from this post
This release caused a few new issues, mainly with bots going to the edge, ‘Stabbed’ messages not showing when you kill someone, and a broken death screen. I am working on this and hope to fix soon. Sorry for the inconvenience! (The serverside is still working correctly, and to my knowledge game saving and stats are still working correctly)
- Tank regen cooldown is no longer bugged (a HUGE pvp improvement)
- Bots less aggro, they will give up fighting a target after a while
- Chest health+drops revamped
- Moose is back!
- Rocks are back!
Death page has still not been fixed yet. I’ll fix it soon.
